Profile

Loredana Gallo lives and works in Florence as a restorer for the Mibact, but also for prestigious collectors, including italian and foreign merchants.

She was born in Lombardy but in 1995, when she moved to Florence, she entered with a positive and inspiring way in the Florentine environment, which is highly qualified and recognized worldwide for excellence in the field of restoration.

Curriculum

Graduated in 1984 at the Lombardy School of Cultural Heritage in Botticino (BS), she worked in Milan until 1993 for Pinin Brambilla Barcilon where she was in the team for the restoration of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper.

Since 1995 she has been working for the National Gallery of Siena; since 1997 for Galleria Palatina in Florence; since 2006 for Uffizi Gallery in a path of costanant personal growth.

Laboratory

The Gallo studio realizes its own interventions both at the lab and both offsite, in the case of unmovable collections or paintings. The location of the lab and its organizational structure is protected by appropriate and rigid security measures, requested by Mibact and by the privates, to guarantee the works.
